adding chocolate

I want to adapt a cheesecake recipe and add chocolate to it. What is the best way (cocoa, chocolate chips) and how much?

    i think melted chips would probably work best.
    or at least make a paste with the cocoa. go easy on the cocoa! :)
    the chips would also not be as bitter as cocoa.

    Maybe late now, but I remember seeing a recipe where you substituted cocoa for flour, but had to make some minor adjustments to make it work. That wouldn't work with cheesecake, though.
